This fall FTC is excited to present Tribes!
We need talented actors and committed techies! Auditions will be August 30th and 31st in Williams from 8 pm to 12 am each night. Tech interviews will be September 8th and 9th, tentatively scheduled for 7 pm to 11 pm in the Harrison Mezzanine. You don’t need to bring or prepare anything for either auditions or interviews – just stop by at some point on either of the scheduled days!

Hello,
My name is Makoto Ikegami. I just found that you were looking for a deaf actor for Tribes. I watched Tribes presented at Philadelphia Theater Company with a friend last year and it was touching enough to make me cry as I had the similar experience that the deaf actor did.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker working with and on behalf of Deaf individuals with severe behavioral and mental health concerns in Philadelphia. I am fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and possess an understanding of Deaf culture and issues relevant to persons with hearing loss. I do not have any experience with drama or play, and even do not have a degree in theater, however.
I am available on Monday, August 31 to stop by at Williams. How long will it take to complete an interview? Will there be an ASL interpreter for an interview?
